Beaches

Livadi
A beautiful sandy, pebble-covered beach, one of the few fully organized ones of the island, situated at the bay of the homonymous settlement offering a wonderful view to the Castle.

Tzanaki
A row of lovely, small pebbly coves, very close to Livadi, not organized, ideal for swimming and relaxation. A walking trail leads down to the beach.

Vatses
After a 20’ drive from Livadi, one can find a tranquil and unspoilt beach with crystal clear waters surroundedby a rocky wilderness. There are a few umbrellas and sunbeds, as well as a beach bar, integrated perfectly into the natural surroundings.

Kaminakia
An idyllic beach combining sand and pebbles with crystalline blue waters, greens growing along the beach, a few sun beds, umbrellas and a couple of taverns.

Agios Konstantinos
Sandy/pebbly beach, with lovely waters and the basic amenities (including a beach bar and tavern), offering a great view to Chora.

Steno
A sandy organized beach with shallow waters, ideal for families with small children, located at the narrow piece of land that divides the island into two parts.

Plakes
A tiny rocky cove with crystal clear waters and unique rock formations, characterized by its wild landscape, provides a perfect getaway and a great underwater experience to snorkelers. It is located just before the airport and is accessed through a walking trail.

Analipsi/Maltezana
A sandy beach, conveniently shallow for the children, shady and well protected.

Ble Limanaki
A pebbly unorganized beach of transparent blue water and amazing sea bottom, found within a small, well protected cove, almost totally invisible, as it is hidden among the rocks, just a 5’ drive from Maltezana bay.

Psili Ammos
After taking the direction to the airport and driving to the end of a dirt road, one reaches a fascinating stretch of soft golden sandoffering a calmand peaceful atmosphere. The beach has no amenities and no natural shading.

Koutsomitis & Kounoupa
Enjoy a unique swimming experience at Koutsomitis and Kounoupa crystal turquoise waters, by joining a daily boat trip to the tiny, uninhabited islets.
