Livadi is a small coastal village on the side of Chora hill. In this valley there are many orchards tangerine, pomegranate, lemon trees and vineyards. On the northwest edge, at the "back" of the valley, lies the dam which collects the water during the rainy season. It forms an artificial lake that caters covers the island's needs in water.
In Livadi there are plenty of restaurants (tavernas), cafeterias, supermarkets and often works as the starting point for excursions to the beautiful beaches on the west side of the island. Following the uphill you can see Tzanaki, Mouras, Pappou, Agios Konstantinos, and then Vatses and Kaminakia.
Livadi has a bus stop for the local bus that operates during summer time connecting Livadi with Chora, Pera Gyalos, Agios Andreas (port), the airport and Maltezana.
